Michigan Construction is proud to be involved with Michigan Construction Career Days taking place this Thursday and Friday (May 4-5)! This is such a great event exposing kids to various careers in the construction industry.
Since 2008, Michigan Construction Career Days (MICCD) is Michigan’s premiere construction career exploration event. Based on the National Career Day model, MICCD provides Michigan’s young people with the opportunity to experience construction up-close — getting the chance to use real tools, materials, and heavy equipment under the direct guidance of construction professionals from all sectors of the industry. These young people will not only see first-hand what construction is like, but learn of the training and education paths that are available to help secure the good paying jobs a career in construction provides.
