Michigan Construction is proud to be involved with Michigan Construction Career Days, taking place on May 1-2, 2019! This is a great opportunity to expose students to various career opportunities in the construction industry. We're pumped to show students in grades 7-12 just how cool construction jobs in Michigan really are!
Since 2008, Michigan Construction Career Days (MICCD) is Michigan’s premiere construction career exploration event. Based on the National Career Day model, MICCD provides Michigan’s young people with the opportunity to experience construction up-close — getting the chance to use real tools, materials, and heavy equipment under the direct guidance of construction professionals from all sectors of the industry. These young people will not only see first-hand what construction is like, but learn of the training and education paths that are available to help secure the good paying jobs a career in construction provides.
